Humber 6.3m Refurbishment
This Humber was sat left to rot in a field up in Scotland. AHS Marine repaired the trailer on site so it could safely be trailered back to Anglesey. She was fitted with an old Mercruiser 1.7L diesel inboard engine, which was in a state of disrepair.
The underside of the hull had its antifoul removed and was sanded down and re gel coated.
The engine well was covered up to deck level and the transom was fully replaced.
Bulkheads were added to the hull to allow for the addition of an underdeck fuel tank. The tank was located on neoprene supports for longevity.
The foredeck and deck over the new tank was replaced and the deck coated in non skid gelcoat.
The console was completely rebuild and featured a new carbon fibre dashboard.
A Mariner 150hp 4s outboard was fitted.
A new navigation system and and full new electrical system was fitted.
A custom rigging box was made at the aft of the boat.
A brand new A frame was fabricated and fitted out.
The seats were modified with the addition of wingback supports.
The trailer underwent a full refurbishment with new swing beams and roller banks to replace the old bunks.
Overall this extensive refit showcases AHS Marine's skillset and attention to detail. Contact us for any further information or questions.
